Nuummite properties not found on net

I've had a piece of nuummite (which is an ancient stone found in Greenland estimated to be 1-3 billion years old) for awhile now and recently discovered that it has some very interesting properties. If you hold it near a strong rare earth magnet they will cling to each other but it is not attracted to steel on it's own. The really amazing thing is that the piece of nuummite has it's own polarity! When placed on a smooth surface with the magnet near by it will rotate when the magnet is rotated. It definitely has a north pole and a south pole. I've never seen this mentioned anywhere on the net, which is interesting considering how much there is on the net! I wonder if anyone else has noticed this...
